Malachite The healing stone of internal and external transformation

Malachite is a mineral belonging to the group referred in Greek as’five’, more specifically to the group of carbonates which are the salts of the carbonic acid with a specific chemical group and which possess certain characteristics of the same area. This mineral has its own formula to be studied according to the area of chemistry that studies it. It stands out for its green color and as history has shown, it was once used as a natural colorant, but today, with all the studies that have been done to it, this stone is considered a semi-precious stone and is widely used in jewelry along with other gems.

As expected, this gem has its own particularly well located deposits. The most relevant are in countries such as South Africa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, United States, China, Hungary, Russia, Zimbabwe and another in South America, specifically located in Colombia. The importation of this carbonate as a mineral is due to the high presence or abundance of copper inside the gem itself. The name that was given to this mineral, as it is commonly called, comes from the Greeks, its word was clearly referring to the color of the rock and not to the gem. The color they always referred to is a specific green that this stone has, besides, it is attractive for people to see a stone with that natural color.

Currently, this gem is only given an aesthetic use, which means that it is only used in accessories and not in other ways as it used to be. The properties of this rock are very strong in the world and it is a mineral that must be treated with extreme caution due to its enormous power as it handles both positive and negative energies, viewed from the religious or believers of the energies of the stones perspective. It is a very important stone because it gives protection to those who carry it with them at all times and it absorbs quickly and easily the negative energies of the wearer’s body. From the chakras’ point of view, there is a belief that cleanses and reorders the vital points, keeping them in order and with the necessary amount of energy.

In psychology, it is known that this stone stands out for being of internal and external transformation as well as for helping you visualize everything that prevents you from growing both personally and spiritually. It is characterized by cutting unwanted or unnecessary bonds that do not contribute anything positive to the relationship. Its color is a feature that will always stand out from the rest because it is a dark green with a few light tones and scattered or blurred lines. When they are first found in deposits, they usually have the shine that they get when they are treated and polished. This shine is called vitreous, which is basically the shine that the glass emits, something that is quite particular.

As mentioned above, it has light green stripes along the length and width of the surface. The Malachite is often presented to the market when it passes through the hands of a spherical or egg-shaped biller, this makes its attractiveness more detailed and it possibly attracts more interested people to demonstrate its care and delicacy.

The faces that this semi-precious stone presents are almost always the best, they do not present fractures and this rock is always used in jewels since it adds a special interest to the garments when they are added as complements to one of them in the decoration as in spherical forms or other forms in which it can be found. Most of the time they are collected depending on the quality of the piece and the person with the level of interest who wants it enough to know how to appreciate it properly. This rock is unique.

It is protected in the mineral market by its sellers as well as the other precious and semi-precious stones that exist in that market. In the industrial field, which requires working with this mineral, it can also be used as copper due to its high content and it can be perfectly used without complications. In the fine arts of the antiquity and the present day this semi-precious stone is used to elegantly decorate the artworks where they are required. This stone can be found in considerably large sizes but then machinery processes can be done to make it the size it needs; it all depends on the way it is seen in the market. The larger the specimen found in the excavations, the greater the weight and cost at the time of selling it to any interested person.

The world football trophies, from the well-known FIFA, small polished and detailed fragments of this material are decorated, even complete bases or carved parts are made to add more value to the pieces and give them an air of elegance and particularity. Malachite is also commonly used in women’s jewelry because they are more attracted to it than men. A good garment that has a necklace decorated with this stone can give an appearance of elegance and combined with clothing that plays a full outfit can do the complete combination when walking in the street.

Lately in the jewelry stores they have tried to make engravings in this rock but the materials tend to be too weak to make a complete and satisfactory work, that’s why they try to manipulate it a lot.
